In this article, we'll look at how to customize your page layouts.
Access Page Layouts
Go into Setup > Object Manager, then select the object in question.
Click Page Layouts on the left, then select a layout from the list.
Field Management
As shown in the clip above, simply drag and drop fields that are available in the Fields menu at the top. If the field is a darker shade with bold text, the field is not yet used on your current page layout. If it's lighter shade with lighter text, the field is already on your page.
Want to remove a field from the layout that you aren't using? Simply click the [-] icon when hovering over the field. This will send the field back to the available fields section above.

Mobile and Lightning Actions
This area controls the buttons that appear in a record.
Follow the steps found under the Access Page Layouts section of this article.

Related Lists
This area controls the fields that are displayed in a Related List.
