Using Stacking Plans
Updated over 9 months ago

Apto will automatically generate stacking plans to give you a visual representation of the gross leasable space in a building. This is a great way for you to keep track of what spaces/units are currently leased, when that lease will expire, and what spaces/units are currently available for lease inside a particular building. This is also a helpful feature to create Unit Mixes for Multifamily assets.

  1. When looking at an Office or Multifamily property page, located under the Related tab, you will find a section labeled Spaces. This is where you will enter in information about particular area for lease.

2. Click on New in the right corner of the Spaces section to create a new space for this property. Fill in as much of this information as you'd like, but pay special attention to the Floor and Suite fields as this is critical information in getting the Stacking Plan built.

Click Save when you are finished entering information in.

3. Click on the Details side of the property page and scroll down until you see the Stacking Plan. You should now see your new Space represented.

Note: the stacking plan is color coded based on time until the lease expires and hovering over the space with your cursor will bring up a small highlight giving you more insight into that particular leased space.
